Functional Fascial Release:

For massage therapists of all experience levels who want to expand their understanding and skill in fascial release. Whether they are a new graduate looking to build confidence in palpation, or an experienced therapist ready to integrate new techniques, this course provides practical, functional, tools they can use right away in their practice. Participants will explore fascia as the body's interconnected support system and learn how to release restrictions using a combination of myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilization techniques. Emphasis will be placed on safe, step-by-step methods locating restrictions, applying effective release strategies, and maintaining therapist body mechanics. Through region-by-region instruction - including TMJ, cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar/sacroiliac region, diaphragm, shoulders, hips, upper extremities, and lower extremities - therapists will gain versatile skills to address common client complaints such as headaches, low back pain, TMJ dysfunction, shoulder immobility, and plantar fasciitis.
